Does not prompt to remember password
<div class="IPBDescription">M</div>My dad just downloaded 1Password for Windows because he's been jealous of me having it for my Mac <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' /> But he's not getting prompted to save a password when he logs in to a new web site. Any suggestions? Does he have to enable this feature or something? Help! He's using IE 7.0.

I don't have the Windows version myself, but to enable the advanced browser support I imagine you need to install the 1Password plugin in your browser.
Over on the Mac side, 1Password has a Browsers section in its settings where you can enable/install plugins for your preferred browsers. It looks like Internet Explorer (along with Chrome and Firefox) has a 1Password plugin over on Windows, so installing that should do the trick for you. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />Flag 0 -

saraho, welcome to the forum!
When your dad installed 1Password for Windows, it should've tested for presence of Internet Explorer[s], Firefox, and Chrome[/s] and enabled the browser extension[s]s for any found[/s].
Please ask you dad to see Where is the 1P button in my browser? in the FAQ section of the user's guide. "Setting Up Browser Extensions" in the Getting Started section contains additional information that may be useful.
We recommend new users take a few minutes to read the Introduction, Getting Started, and Tutorial sections. They're short, but they provide most of the information you need to get up to speed quickly. As you use 1Password, you'll find the FAQ section a useful resource.Flag 0 -
We enable the IE extension automatically (if we find IE 7 or higher) but the other browser extensions you have to enable manually.Flag 0

How embarrassing. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_blush.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='(blush)' />
I did it so long ago that I'd forgotten that. Thanks, Stefan!
Sorry for the misinformation, saraho. I try not to do be so completely wrong very often.Flag 0 -

Oops!
If 1Password fails to detect the need to save a Login for one or two sites, please see Saving a Login item in the Tutorials section of the user's guide.
If 1Password isn't offering to save Logins for any sites, it may be that the option to do so has been disabled. There are two places that option can be toggled: on the Logins tab of 1Password preferences and in the 1Password dialog box that appears when you click the 1P button in the browser toolbar:

I hope that's a bit more helpful than my previous attempt. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_blush.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='(blush)' />Flag 0
