Feature Request: Face/Voice Recognition Security Options

Might be a little gimmicky but it still could be really cool, looking at the Android API it seems that both of these are able to be accomplished. Don't know how secure/accurate these are but thats why they are an option for people to use.

Our primary focus right now with 1Password for Android is bringing its feature set up to par with that of 1Password for iPhone. Once we get there, we might start looking at bonus features for Android users. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />

Hi cynicaljoy and welcome to the 1P4A Forum !

I really like your cool suggestion about the Face/Voice recognition security option.

Yes,we all know that Google Android team is working hard providing new very impressive features.

It is quite possible that we will add some cool new features to the 1P4A.

However, at this moment we need to see how reliable Face/Voice recognition works.

At Agile we are very concerned about our customer's data security and will never compromise

    it under any circumstances.

Talking about voice recognition, we need to be absolutely sure that there are no mismatches between actual words and password.

In addition, what to do with special characters like !@#$%^&*( which are very often used in a passwords ?

    And with upper/lower cases ?

As for the face recognition, the feature is still not 100% proof and as such is not acceptable for our customers in its current version.

Anyways, it will be nice to hear from you in a future, please always share with us your suggestions and recommendations about 1P4A and other Agile products !

    Thank you and best regards,

    Gene
