Adding Duplicate Software Items
<div class="IPBDescription">Can't easily do it</div>I updated one of my applications recently, an application which is already in my 1P vault. Dragging the application to 1P resulted in 1P ignoring me, presumably because the app is already accounted for.
However, this version of the app requires a separate license key, and I'd like to keep track of the separate order information as well. It was necessary to move the older entry to the trash, drag the newer app to 1P, and then restore the previous item to the vault.
Might it be possible to add a dialog confirming the duplicate if there is an existing entry?

Silently failed to add another item?

I'd expect it would also be possible to run File > Duplicate (Command-D) on the original item (and remove " Copy" from its Title?), delete the original, then save the newer app.

Would a dialog with "Overwrite", "Add as Duplicate", and "Cancel" choices be sufficient?Flag 0 -
I use right click duplicate and as you said remove copy from the title really easy from the old trackpad, well my multi touch not so much from the wifes older one. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />Flag 0

Actually, we have such an idea filed already. I don't know when we'll get to it, but I'll bring it up again.
