Use 1PASSWORD with Mvelopes

I just started using a checking account program called "Mvelopes" at mvelopes.com Once you have an account on the program and you then log in at https://my.mvelopes.com Then there is a pop up that has you put yoru user name and password in.

I can not figure out how to get 1PASSWORD to recognize and fill in the popeup screen.

thanks for the help. still loving the program use it on my PC, MAC, iPad and iPhone

  • I don't get a pop-up window at that URL. Instead, I see this:
1Password saves and fills that form without problem, through the standard browser extension. (I used Firefox for the test, just now.)

Generally, though, I recommend trying the "auto-type" feature for troublesome forms and non-browser logins.

For quite some time now, I've been accessing the Mvelopes application at the following login link: https://my.mvelopes.com/webapp/control/main?accessCode=D001001001

I was annoyed that their main site was changed to require clicking on the "Launch Mvelopes" button after successfully submitting my login information.
  • MM, I still don't see a pop-up window at that URL, just the page shown in my screen shot above, and 1Password works just fine, there.

Of course, I don't have an Mvelopes account, so I may be missing something, and we haven't heard from Larry in WA, since his original post.

David, this may be the page: https://my.mvelopes.com/webapp-personal/control/client I never use this login page as it only appears when logging off the Mvelopes web-application (Flash-based) itself, but it may be the one to which the OP is referring.

    Thanks for the follow-up, MM.

If it's Flash, that could be the problem. Historically, 1Password has been unable to save and restore logins for sites that use Adobe Flash.

It might be worth trying the "auto-type" feature on a Flash-based login page. I'm constantly amazed by what it can do...
  • I have a similar issue with Oracle Support page where it appears that the Log In page is actually a flash page. I notice the URL doesn't change when you click on the Log In button. I thought that the 1Password URL wasn't correct and I was going to update the URL but it never changed. The only thing I could do is click on the log in button and when the flash page appeared I when populated the fields from 1Password. That worked but I would like to know if there's a better solution. Is there something we can add to the 1Password login that would activate a flash page containing the username and password fields?

    pacman, welcome to the forum!

I don't know of any tricks. As noted above:
