Android app wont download from Market
I have two droid 2 phones and the 1password app download and installed ok on one of the phones and gets an error on the other phone when it starts to install. I tried to download a couple times over the last couple days. I also restarted the phone, unistalled market updates and still no luck.
Any thoughts?
Thanks

Hi jmorr,
Thank you for your interest in 1P4A and welcome to the Forum !
Today I uninstalled 1P4A on my Nexus 1 and installed a new copy from Market without any issue.
However, in the past I also had a quite unexplained problem trying to download/install 1P4A or any other application from the Android Market !
The application update/install stuck and didn't move for a long time. I found that was a well known issue
with Android Market application and hadn't been addressed yet.(Android Market app is very unstable even
on OS 2.2.1, it crashes so often...)
The issue has been already reported to the Android development team, hopefully it will be fixed in a future releases.
If you are experiencing a similar issue, Go to Menu->Settings->Applications->Manage Applications,
select Market from the list of applications and press Click Data and then Force Stop buttons.
After that, restart the Market application and try to download/update 1P4A again, it should fix the problem.
Please let me know if you need more information.
Thank you in advance and best regards,
Gene

Hi jmorr,
I am sorry to hear about your issues.
How about trying to install the 1Password for Android with your SD card unmounted ?
This will bypass a default installation on the card and force the application to be installed on the internal device's memory storage.
Please let me know if the option works for you.
I would also like to say that 1Password or any other application has no control on the installation, it is handled by the phone's Operation System.
In addition, I recommend you to upgrade your phone to the latest OS , if possible (my Nexus 1 was upgraded yesterday to 2.2.2). There are many bugs fixed in this release.
So it is worth to try.
Please let me know your opinion on that.
Thank you
Regards,
Gene

Tried the items above and still no luck. It gets thru the downloading but it is during the installation when the error occurs. Still not sure why it worked on one of the phones and not the other, being they are the same phones purchased on the same day. Thanks.
