Apps for Mac

I am in the trial period of 1Password for Mac. But I realized there are other similar mac apps like Wallet. And, 1Password is not a mac app; at least I couldn't locate it in the app store. Question: What is the difference between 1Password and a similar mac app (i.e. Wallet)? Could purchasing Wallet (a mac app) be a better choice than purchasing a non mac app like 1Password? 1Password not being a mac app means that Apple does not approve of it (or hasn't test it)??

Please give me an answer soon, as I would like to decide which product to purchase.

    That's a contradiction. The version you're trying is a Mac app or it wouldn't be running on your Mac! <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />



    There are plenty of Mac apps not in Apple's Mac App Store.
