Fill and Submit at mweb not working

This is a continuation of my previous thread about getting Fill and Submit to work at mweb, see:

As mentioned above, I have three/four different logins for this mweb site. They are listed in that png above, and I'll repost them here. primecal, primecal4, primecalr, and primecal adsl.

The login that you mention - the one titled "Mweb - primecalr?? nw??" has question marks on it because it has not yet proved itself to work in the long run. It does list the url as signmein.co.za, which is indeed the second site that they switch to, so perhaps this one might work once I've been sent there.

But I don't want this login, I want the first one, the primecal login. And although I went Go and Fill on this login, this second png shows that it has gone to the login site, but then broadly ignored it... see:

So what's up?

OK. Find the login that you want, and change it's URL to the following:
http://www.signmein.co.za/authentication.aspx
That should solve the issue because you've saved these logins for mweb.co.za, but that page redirects to signmein.co.za when you need to login. In order for Go & Fill to work correctly and for the login to show up in your browser, the saved URL must match the current URL.

I hope that works for you.

Thanks for the suggestion, Rob, I've just tried it. But when using that url it first adds an enormous chunk onto the end of the url, and then fails with invalid null parameter, see:

mweb signmein url fails with null value failure.1.png

a second try again fails with:

mweb signmein url fails with null value failure.2.png

so no, this doesn't work.

Any other suggestions? How can I get my three different logins for this, indeed any one of my logins for this site working?

And I'd like to attach these pngs to this post. But your forum won't let me. As I said in the earlier thread, it only allows a total of 500k global upload quota, and that was exhausted with the other pngs earlier. How can this additional problem be fixed? Or do I need to post it as another thread as a separate issue?

I'm sorry that you're having this problem. As you have done for some other logins, please try saving the login manually like this:

    1. Enter your username and password, but DO NOT submit the form.

    2. Click the 1Password button in your browser's toolbar, and choose Save Login.

    3. Set the Action field to Create New Login (or to Replace <login-name>, to update an existing Login item).

    4. Click the Save button.

Using the above technique I was able to save and fill a sample login in Safari at:

    http://www.signmein.co.za/authentication.aspx

Manually saving a login can be useful for logins that are either problematic to begin with or were once working but have since stopped. Doing this allows 1Password to refresh everything it "knows" about the page. Login pages often change as websites are updated and this can be a necessary but very useful tip. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />

If you are still having trouble, please take a look at our "Website Login Issues" guide. Note especially that editing the login to change the Submit value from "If Autosubmit is ON" to "Never" works on a lot of sites which modify the form before submitting it or are looking for a literal key press or mouse click. This will give you the chance to actually give them what they are looking for by submitting the form yourself rather than allowing 1Password to do it on your behalf.

I hope that helps. Please let me know which browser you are using if you are still having trouble.

You might consider something like CloudApp for image hosting. The OS X app will even automatically upload screenshots as you take them. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />

    Thanks!
