Can't login to php pages

Some sites (well, many sites) are, of course, created with PHP. 1password fails to catch the login when a new login is created. When the login is created manually 1password fails to fill it in unless you press ctrl \ when the page appears--it won't fill in and submit automatically.

An example that fails in this for me is: https://support.hawkhost.com. This is the ticket and support page for my internet hoster.

In general, the windows version seems WAY behind the Mac version and only the most conventionally implemented logins with http forms seem to work. All else fails.

I just visited that web site in Firefox. I don't have a Hawkhost account, but I was able to save a Login for the site and, on subsequent visits, pressing Ctrl+\ filled in the e-mail and password fields with the credentials 1Password had stored for it.

As explained in Using a saved Login item in the Tutorials section of the user's guide, that's the easiest way to use a saved Login.

You do need to press Ctrl+\ after you click a Login from within 1Password. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Although there are several features, like auto-type, that are unique to 1Password for Windows, it's true that 1Password for Mac has a head start of several years. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' /> Please bear with us as we continue to improve our entire product line.

1Password does work with web sites that are created with PHP. PHP is a server-side technology. Whether or not a web site is created with PHP (or not) is irrelevant to 1Password.
