Autologin is very restricted
Basically, you might as well as admit to everyone that autologin only works on the simplest of http forms. You can't sign in to a public facing SharePoint site. Sharepoint asks the browser to generate a dialog box (from the browser app) to request the credentials and return them to the site. This is completely invisible to 1password.
Have you guys tested any logins beyond simple http forms? I know you'll recommend how convenient autotype or copy/paste is, but you might as well not claim to have autologin. Roboforms doesn't have these problems (though it has wonderful problems of its own).

Lewis, I'm not sure what "autologin" is.
1Password includes an "auto-save" option (when you submit a form, should it detect and offer to save or update a Login?) and an "auto-submit" option (after it fills a form with data from your saved Login, should it also submit that form?).
As explained in another thread, there's no option to automatically detect that you're on a page for which you have a Login and fill the page without you instructing it to do so. That's by design.
Can you tell us what it is you're saying that 1Password lacks? (We know it lacks lots of things, to be sure—I'm just not sure what you mean by "autologin.")
Thanks!Flag 0 -

You're referring to HTTP authentication. This is why we have Auto-Type.Flag 0 -
Just a reminder: you can read about "auto-type" in the 1Password for Windows user's guide: http://help.agile.ws/1Password_Windows/auto-type.html
We ask that you take a few minutes to read the Introduction, Getting Started, and Tutorials sections of the user's guide. They're short, and they'll give you the information you need to get up to speed quickly. As you use 1Password for Windows, we believe you'll find the FAQ section to be a useful resource.Flag 0 -
So, there are terminology problems in the port from Mac to Windows.
Autosave frequently fails for many sites.
Auto-type appears to work when "autosubmit" is on. I see no place to turn autosubmit on or off.
Autotype is an action that can only be performed when an appropriate login window is open. It would be nicer if the browser addin detected the dialog and its fields.Flag 0 -

We've tried to consistent with terminology, with one exception: Mac OS X shows your 1Password data as a file, whereas Windows shows it as a folder, so we have to use the correct term in each context.

When that happens, in either 1Password for Mac or 1Password for Windows, just save the Login "manually" by clicking the 1P button in the browser's tool bar and using the Save Login feature.

Auto-type is independent of auto-submit. You can toggle auto-submit in two places: (1) the menu or dialog box that appears when you click the 1P button in the browser's tool bar; (2) the Logins tab of 1Password preferences.

Auto-type is just that: a way to have 1Password "type" your username and/or password into the available fields in the most recently active program.
It is by design that 1Password for Mac and for Windows doesn't automatically detect and fill a form without you instructing it to do so, typically by pressing Command-\ or Ctrl+\ in the browser. See Automatic form detection and filling for Windows-specific details.Flag 0 -

Please be more specific. I can only fix this (or explain why it ain't working) if you provide me with a specific URL.

Auto-Type and Auto-Submit are unrelated. You can always invoke Auto-Type, regardless whether Auto-Submit if on (or off).

Our Windows version does not support HTTP authentication windows. However, Auto-Type is a nice workaround. Many of our users are using Auto-Type whenever they are prompted with a HTTP authentication window, and apparently this is working for them.Flag 0
