unable to login to AT&T

Up until today I’ve been able to login to AT&T with no problem. Today nothing shows up in the login boxes. The AT&T page launches fine but doesn’t fill in.

I'm sorry that you're having this problem. Please try saving the login manually like this:



1. Enter your username and password, but DO NOT submit the form.

2. Click the 1Password button in your browser's toolbar, and choose Save Login.

3. Set the Action field to Create New Login (or to Replace <login-name>, to update an existing Login item).

4. Click the Save button.



Using the above technique I was able to save and fill a sample login in Safari at:

Manually saving a login can be useful for logins that are either problematic to begin with or were once working but have since stopped. Doing this allows 1Password to refresh everything it "knows" about the page. Login pages often change as websites are updated and this can be a necessary but very useful tip. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />

Oddly enough I can login from the Safari 1Password menu or the menu bar menu but NOT Command backslash NOR from Allbookmarks. And Command backslash works fine for other logins.

Is that after you manually saved a new login as I outlined above? Please let me know since I am running the same build and have never had trouble with my AT&T login. Specifically, are you using the URL I provided? The AT&T site has multiple login pages. Without further testing, I cannot vouch for any other AT&T login pages, but that is the one I have been successfully using for years. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. I did manually save but didn’t use that login page, just the same one I had always used. Will try it now.

wups, that login you provided is for wireless. What I have is pots. Where I live At&T wireless service is almost non existent. And Verizon is not much better.



BTW I’m NOT receiving notifications about replies from Agile (and yes it’s checked)

We have been having trouble with the SMTP (outgoing mail) settings for IP.Board. Thanks for reminding us that we still have have some work ahead of us!

Well it looks like for the moment if I login using the menu bar icon or safari icon I can do it OK, just not with Command backslash like I said which is the strange thing.

I just need to remember this each month.

I do so hate AT&T that I refuse to get an iPhone. Probably won’t get one from Verizon either as their service, where I live, also sucks.

If the 1P browser toolbar button is working but the keyboard shortcut is not, I would try resetting the keyboard shortcuts in 1Password's preferences.

Just click the current shortcut and press ⌘\ for Fill Login and and ⌥⌘\ for Go & FIll. Is the keyboard shortcut working for other logins? Do you have another custom shortcut set up to use the same key combination (System Preferences > Keyboard > Keyboard Shortcuts > Application Shortcuts)?

I just tried it again from AllBookmarks and it works again. No idea why. But thanks for trying to help. I’ll be back if it reoccurs.
