Slow access to 1password
in Mac
I've noticed some behavior that I consider strange. When I first open 1Password and start typing in a search value, the ball shows up and seems to spin for 5 or 10 seconds before anything happens any my search criteria is returned. Why is this happening?
A similar behavior has been noted in Safari 5.0.3. If I haven't been on the computer in a while, with it possibly going to sleep, I visit a web site and want to log in. The first login chosen from the pulldown menu is quick. However, clicking on the 1P icon in the toolbar when visiting a subsequent site might result in the beach ball for several seconds before the menu pops up. Why is this happening too?
I'm on an iMac i7 with 16GB of RAM running OS X Server 10.6.6
Thanks.
Stephen

Hey Stephen,
I'm sorry that you are having this problem.
Please try rebuilding your data file in 1Password on your Mac (Help > Troubleshooting > Rebuild Data File…).
If you are still having trouble, could you please email us your Diagnostics Report? This will help us track down the issue more quickly. You can generate the report from 1Password on your Mac by clicking the Help > Troubleshooting > Diagnostics Report... menu item and then attach the report to an email to support@agile.ws.
Please include a link to this thread so we can "connect the dots" but do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forums.
Please let me know how it turns out!Flag 0 -

Hi Khad,
Unfortunately, this solution works briefly and then the slow performance returns. I've emailed my diagnostic report as requested.
Thanks.
