Banking login problem Sparkasse

Hi,

there is a problem with login to a german banking portal:

https://bankingportal.sparkasse-moenchengladbach.de/portal/portal/Starten?p=p.startseite

I can save the login data, and re-login at same day will usually work.

But it seems that the field names are obfuscated and changed regularly.

So foe example when I look at the saved username, then the field name appears as "cvsHmEoIBjYWjjjR".

And a day later this field name is not valid anymore.

Has anyone seen that before? Any way to work around that?

Thanks!

Welcome to the forums, Skywalker007. I'm sorry that you are having this problem.

Unfortunately, some login forms do have dynamic field names (as you correctly point out). We try to balance the usability of filling "random" field names on the page with the security of only filling the matching fields. This is something we continue to work on, and I appreciate you pointing out this URL for us to include in our testing!

The form is working well for me in Chrome which is using our very latest form filling code. We will be porting the Chrome form filling code back to Safari and Firefox in a future release.

I'm sorry I don't have a better answer for you you at the moment, but we are aware of this and already have a "fix" coded. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />

Please let me know if there is anything else I can help with.
  • Thanks a lot Khad.

I am happy that you are aware of this and I am looking forward to test the solution once it is ready.

    regards! Till

    Hi Till,

On behalf of Khad, you’re welcome. One more thing, we do not have a timeframe on when the new auto-fill engine will be implemented in the Safari/Firefox extensions. You can use it now in the Chrome extension if you want.
