Firefox addon not working

I'm using FF 3.6.13 with 1Password 3.5.4. My FF addon stopped working a couple of days ago. If I look at my FF addons, it shows the 1Password 3.3.1 addon listed. The enable and uninstall button both are visible. When I click the enable button, nothing happens.

I've restarted both 1PWD and FF and I've logged out of my OSX profile and it still does not work. I have not rebooted OSX yet because I figured logging out of my profile would be good enough.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

    Welcome to the forums, Snazawa.

I'm sorry that you're having this problem. Please quit your web browser(s) and then:

    1. Open 1Password

    2. Open 1Password's Preferences to the Browsers pane

    3. Click the "Remove All Extensions" button

    4. Click the "Install All Extensions" button

Please let me know how it turns out.

    Thanks!

Thanks for your assistance. I followed your instructions and I've not got 1Password in the FF right-click context menu but their are not child options when I hover over 1Password in the context menu. Also, I was able to add the 1Password icon back to the main toolbar, but when I click on it, nothing happens. Same for when I click on Fill in the 1Password toolbar. Also, the icon is just a plain 1P. It used to look like a button with a gradient and shadow. Now it's just plain letters.

I did have FF closed when I removed and installed the extensions.

    Anything else I should try?

It sounds like your 1Password installation is damaged, which is affecting browser integration. To resolve this:

    1. Download 1Password from our web site:

    http://agilewebsolutions.com/downloads

Click on the "Download Now" button under "1Password 3"

    2. Quit your web browser and 1Password, if it's running

    3. Open your Applications folder and drag 1Password to the Trash

    4. Install the new copy of 1Password you just downloaded

    5. Run 1Password and then your web browser

Your information is stored in a data file separate from the application, so it will not be harmed by this procedure.

After 1Password is reinstalled, please quit your web browser(s) and then repeat the same procedure as above:

    1. Open 1Password

    2. Open 1Password's Preferences to the Browsers pane

    3. Click the "Remove All Extensions" button

    4. Click the "Install All Extensions" button

You may have different, more positive, results this time. Please let me know.

That did it. Thanks for your great support and a fantastic product. One of the top 3 OSX apps I could not live without. Actually, probably the most important.
