1Password no longer asking to save passwords

Hey there,



1Password is working just fine in every other aspect, but recently it has not been asking me to save new passwords. The only recent change I've made on my computer is adding an SSD and moving the spinning drive to the optical bay.

    Hi unfortunately, love the handle, welcome to the forums, I'm sorry your first post isn't a happier one.



    Could you check that 'Enable Autosave of Logins in browser' is checked under 1Password > Preferences > Logins. If that doesn't help it may be worth reinstalling the browser extension by first quitting your browsers and then going to 1Password > Preferences > Browsers and clicking 'Remove all Extensions' and then 'Install all Extensions' which should take care of things for you.

    No problem at all, I'm not sure how it could have gotten unchecked either, possibly due to a problem with the preferences file, but it's good to hear you're up and running again.
