You're not alone in your frustration... <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' /> First thing to realize is that the Android Beta of 1Password is a read only app. You won't (at least for now) be able to add or edit any data on it. I've tried several times to put a copy of the keychain into the root of my SD card on my EVO and failed each time to do it that way, no matter how carefully I followed instructions. I did, however find that after going the Drop Box route it worked like a charm! If you have any misgivings about leaving a copy of your keychain on the Drop Box server, after a successful sync, you can delete it from Drop Box and change the location on your computer back to the original place it was stored.

Lots of examples here on the forum via tutorials etc and on the Drop Box site. Good luck!

    Hi Jaun,

    Thank you for the information.

First of all, 1Password.agilekeychain folder with all your private data may be easily copied on your phone's SD card to any directory through USB cable the same way you copy your music and other

    files.

Once your 1Password data file (folder) is moved to the SD card , you can use an option "Have data file locally" during setup, specify location and 1Password for Android will work for you with

the local copy, no Dropbox needed.

I'd like to notice that the wast majority of 1Password users keep their data files inside of Dropbox. That way it is easy for them to synchronize their data between different devices.

If you specify your correct dropbox credentials in 1Password for Android, the application will pull all your private data on your phone's SD card (all encrypted, of course, so there is are security

issues here). Later on you can provide your Master password (the same you use on PC/Mac) and see all your data on the phone.

Yes, in its current version 1Password for Android is a read-only application, in order to change your data, you will need to do it on your Mac/PC first and next to synchronize your computer with your

    Android phone.

Please let me know if you need more info.
