Welcome to the forums, dosw. A Knox vault is like plugging in an external drive. To close it, drag the open vault on your Desktop to your Trash. You'll see your Trash icon turn into a big "Eject" icon. Drop the vault on the Eject icon to close it. You can also select it in a Finder window or on your Desktop and type cmd-e or click File > Eject.Flag 0

wow....so simple.....kinda new to mac...why can't others systems be less "complicated"??
