Logging in on Temporary Computer

Hey everyone,

So I was without my computer for a few days for repairs, and I was unable to install 1password on the machine to use. So that posed a situation for me. I had to log into accounts which I had no idea what the passwords were because I had used the password generator to create them. So that got me thinking about a useful new feature I would love to see, a web interface.

A basic web interface where I don't necessarily have to be able to add / manage accounts, but have the ability to click on my logins in order to go to and complete the forms based on my synced settings. This way if I am without my computer, or just use a friends to check email or bank account balances, I can do so by easily logging in to my 1password account and clicking what I want to log into.

I know that this may pose some security risks, and may not fit within the capabilities of the software, but figured it couldn't hurt to ask!

Thanks,

Jon Desrosiers

    Hi Desrosj,

This is already available. It is called 1Password Anywhere. If you sync to Dropbox, you can access it there from any computer, or you can copy your 1Password.agilekeychain to a USB drive and open the 1Password.html file using a supported web browser. Look at the below support article and see if this offers what you are looking for.

Awesome! Not sure how I overlooked this. I already use Backblaze for my online backup so I just have to download my keychain file via a restore request.

    Thanks!
