Auto fill-in for Android browser
<div class="IPBDescription">Is this planned?</div>Hi Gene etc.,
I like the autolaunch feature in the 1P4A app and use it frequently. But I also access favorite web sites via the browser alone. In those cases I would like to have my password program auto-fill username and password just as it does in my desktop. Perhaps I have missed how to enable this function in the present beta for Android. If so, would you kindly explain to me how to use auto-fill in the Android browser?
If not... would you kindly consider this a request for a feature? Along with two way sync, auto-fill is a basic function for a password manager IMO. I hope you agree and look forward to the next beta hopefully with an auto-fill feature.
Thanks guys! Keep up the good work!!

Hi RichR,
First of all, thank you for the good words about 1Password for Android, comments like that really make my day ! <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />
We at Agile are very happy when our customers are happy with our products.
I am glad that your find autologin feature useful, I can say that it uses internally the same piece of logic to find and fill your credentials on web page as 1Password for iPhone.
Notice that your page filled with credentials is opened in the special Android control called Webview. It has much less functionality than the standard Android Browser or Dolphin.
As of Android OS 2.2.3 there is currently no way to implement autologin feature in Browser. I am waiting for the OS updates and more Browser integration options so I will be able to launch a Android browser proper and fill the page with credentials. It will be really cool, hope this functionality will come in the future Android OS releases.
BTW, please stay tuned for the 1Password for Android updates, I will be releasing a new (and much improved) application version in the next few weeks.
Best regards,
Gene
