Cant open Attachments in Secure Notes

Hello,



I am not able to open attachments in Secure Notes. The Attachments are shown, unfortunately I even do not receive an error message. I only receive a standard windows "save as" dialog window.



Opening the same note within 1Password for Mac (synced by Dropbox) works without any problems.

I wouldn't expect an error message, as there's nothing wrong. 1Password for Windows just works differently, in this respect. As I recall, viewing an attachment requires creating a copy of the attachment, and the copy would be available for anyone to find, so it would be better to have the user explicitly save the attachment to a known location and decide whether it needs to be deleted after it's been viewed.



We may be able to look again at that behavior in some future release of 1Password for Windows. For now, though, please save the attachment, view it, and delete or keep it, as suits your needs.

BTW: I like your reply more, due to the reason I have to save the attachment...
