    Welcome to the forums, geb!

To uninstall 1Password 2 from your system, you can simply drag it to the trash. Your data is stored in a separate file and will not be harmed.

I hope that helps. Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

that is the problem, when i drag the icon to trash, it jumps right back to the dock.

To remove an item from the Dock, just drag its icon onto the Desktop. It disappears with a cool poof animation. Removing an application from the Dock will not uninstall it from your system, though. If 1Password 2 is still installed elsewhere on your system (i.e. on your Desktop, in your Applications folder), you can drag those to the trash.

Please let me know how it turns out.
  • To determine the location of an item with a Dock icon, Command-Click the icon to open the folder for the corresponding item with it selected (if it exists). For example, Command-Click on the 1Password Dock icon will typically open the /Applications folder in a Finder window with 1Password.app selected.

That can help locate unnecessary duplicates for removal when more than one Dock icon exists for an app. It won't help locate duplicate apps that don't have Dock icons. It's easier to do than describe. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

On behalf of sjk, you are quite welcome!

It was a better tip than I had provided. I think we are both thanking sjk right now. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
