Welcome to the forums, nelsostan. I'm sorry your first post couldn't be under better circumstances.
It sounds like your 1Password installation may be damaged, which is likely affecting browser integration. To resolve this:
1. Download 1Password from our web site:
http://agilewebsolutions.com/downloads
Click on the "Download Now" button under "1Password 3"
2. Quit your web browser and 1Password, if it's running
3. Open your Applications folder and drag 1Password to the Trash
4. Install the new copy of 1Password you just downloaded
5. Run 1Password and then your web browser
Your information is stored in a data file separate from the application, so it will not be harmed by this procedure.
After 1Password has been reinstalled, please try running the 1Password application and selecting the Help > Troubleshooting > Reset Folder Permissions menu option. You will be prompted for your OS X admin password and then 1Password will fix the permissions of several folders. Once completed, your folder permissions should be correct and when you restart your Mac the background agent will be able to be installed and started correctly. This will likely resolve the issue with Safari.
Additionally, it sounds like Firefox may be caching some data from a previous version. You can fix this by completely uninstalling the Firefox extension and reinstalling it:
1. Make sure Firefox is not running.
2. Launch 1Password from your /Applications folder
3. Click 1Password > Preferences > Browsers
4. Uncheck the box next to all versions of Firefox
5. Launch Firefox and click Tools > Add-ons > Extensions. Make sure that 1Password is *not* listed.
6. Step #5 is the most important step so I'll repeat it again here <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' /> Launch Firefox and make sure 1Password is not there.
7. If 1Password is appearing in the Extensions window, click the Uninstall button on the 1Password extension and quit Firefox.
8. Return to your 1Password window and check the box next to Firefox. There are two versions: 3 and 4. Pick the one that you have installed.
9. Restart Firefox and click Tools > Add-ons > Extensions. Make sure that 1Password is listed.
After following these steps, the Firefox extension will have forgotten everything about previous versions and should work correctly.
Please let me know how it turns out.

I'm sorry for the late reply guys. I know on some forums replies in "just" 31 hours is standard practice but it is damn slow for us and I've very sorry it took this long. We got our signals crossed here yesterday and no one was covering the forums; it's not an excuse but I thought you'd like to know what happened.
R1Law, j33per, Wilker Lucio: Please email us a Diagnostics Report along with which browser is not working for you so we can see exactly what is happening. You can generate a report from the Help > Troubleshooting menu and email it to support@agilewebsolutions.com. Please also include a link to this thread so we can connect the dots.Flag 0 -
Thanks for updating the thread j33per! I'm glad everything is working well for you now. I'll share the steps I gave you via email with the rest of the folks in the thread. Of course, always feel free to contact us via email as well. We are always here to help!
Before I go to far, please update to the latest versions of 1Password (3.5.9), Firefox (3.6.15), Safari (5.0.4). That alone may resolve your issue.
If you are still having trouble, let's start with Firefox.
It sounds like Firefox is likely caching some data from a previous version. Even if you have performed these steps previously, please follow them carefully after updating all your software. I anticipate that you will have different, more positive results now:
(There are two versions: 3 and 4. Pick the one that you have installed.)
9. Restart Firefox and click Tools > Add-ons > Extensions. Make sure that 1Password is listed.
After following these steps, the Firefox extension will have forgotten everything about previous versions and should work correctly.
Please let me know how it turns out and if you are still having trouble with Safari after updating to the latest versions of everything and restarting your Mac.
