Provisioning profile expired

I was in the iPhone Beta program a while back.

Recently I started getting alerts that the 1Password Provisioning Profile was about to expire.

I ignored it because I thought it would just fall back to something built in to the app, but now that it has expored, I an unable to run 1Password on my iPhone.

I will probably just delete and re-install the app on the phone, but I wanted some confirmation that that was the correct answer. Thanks!

    That's right, Beta testing provisioning profiles do expire after a while, and normally these would just get renewed, however we moved our iOS beta testing to TestFlight and so Roustem doesn't have to handle the profiles as much these days.



    If you purchased a copy of 1Password for iPhone before, removing your current non-functional Beta version and reinstalling the latest from the App Store should do the trick. I presume you have your data backed up or synced with 1Password for Mac / Windows?

    Had to wait for the weekend before I could get good backups.



    Just to be clear in case it ever comes up again .. although I guess it won't, given how you've changed the beta process .. I was not still running the beta version. I had purchased Pro even before I was in the beta program.

    I also had the most recent update, but the beta provisioning profile must have still been lurking in the background.



    I did remove/reinstall and I'm good again .. thanks for the help.

    That's quite strange, if you were running the App Store version of 1Password Pro it shouldn't have stopped working because of the provisioning profile, but in any case I'm glad to hear you're up and running again.
