I'm using 1P4A on my HTC EVO running CM7 (RC2 if that matters though the bug's been there for some time). Can't remember if it holds true if I fall-back to a Sense ROM but if I get time will try it to see. Enter my master password to open 1P, get the record info I want and switch back to the app I'm using (most recent case was with Chase's mobile banking app) and then when I return I'm prompted to (re) enter my master password, do so (with Show Password ticked to make sure I'm getting it right) and the password entry box shuts and immediately reopens. I've not been able to reopen the app then till rebooting. 1P doesn't show up in the list of running apps so can't kill it either. Kinda limits the utility of 1P4A! Not sure if there's a

Looking forward to the next version!

  • Hi pfflynn13,

Thank you for reporting this issue with 1Password for Android, I can't reproduce this on my Samsung Galaxy S running a stock 2.1 ROM (I won't even go into the fun and games I'm having with that) so I've passed this along to Gene, our Android developer, to see if he has any ideas.

I don't know if CM7 could be the cause, I'd hope not as this is a ROM I want to put on the Galaxy S soon.

Let me know if I can help somehow. BTW, I think you'll find CM7, particularly now that's it at RC2+ status is an excellent ROM and suitable as a daily driver for most users.
  • Thanks pfflynn13!

I just got word back from Gene, he's got a huge update coming out for 1Password for Android soon with some great new features and the fix for this bug too, so please keep an eye on the Market for the update.

The problem with CM7 is that it's not at RC2 status for Galaxy S devices, I think they had a lot of fun getting it working on non HTC stuff. I'm excited, but my Android phone is really just a testing device for 1Password for Android, at least right now.

Awesome! I'll keep an eye on the Market next couple of weeks.

Re: your Galaxy, my experience was that CM7 was fully functional as a daily driver well before RC1 with exception of 4G (if you are on Sprint). Even that had a useful version branched off by Shinzul (mostly to stop the whining I think <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' /> I think). Not sure how far off the mainline the Galaxy devices are so YMMV.

Thanks for the replies on my bugs and for an awesome app. So happy to have it on multiple platforms and the dropbox sync is a God-send.

I'm in the UK, so it's a GSM model Galaxy S i9000, I'm just finding the time to try it out really.

Thanks for the kind words, we're really excited to have 1Password on Android as well as iOS.
