<div class="IPBDescription">Duplicated, but only 1 enters</div>I have had problems with signing in to a site where I need to access information using two different UserIDs. First, the usual menu at the top of Safari asking if I want to save the login is not present after manual login, as it is on other sites. So I entered the information, and before logging in, I selected "Save Login" and gave it a name. After that the cmd-\ login worked fine. Then I opened 1-Password and duplicated that login, changing the UserID and Password and saving. Then I went back to the login page, but the initially created login occurred when I entered cmd-\. So I tried selecting "Other Logins" for the second ID, but it did not enter the UserID. So I deleted the second login from 1-Password, went to the site, entered the information for the second user, selected "Save Login" and gave it a new name. Now when I go to the site, only the second login occurs. When I select the first using "Other Logins" it doesn't enter the UserID that it did before the second was added.

I have several sites where I use multiple users that work fine. I can't figure out why I can't get this one to work.

I'm running Version 3.5.8 (build 30881) on an iMac running OS X version 10.6.6.

  • Hi tenoreprimo,

That is very strange, as you've noted other sites work fine with having two or more Login items saved, and in fact I use this every day with Twitter, Google and many other sites.

Do you have a link to the site in question so I can take a look and see what exactly could be happening?

    Thanks

    Yes, it is: https://www.mymedicare.gov/default.aspx

Of course only people who are on medicare can go there, so I'm not sure how you will test it out. You don't look that old. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />
  • Aww, thanks tenoreprimo!

Well no, I can't test it with a working Login, but I can create some 'fake' ones to see how the login form is filled. I'll let you know what I come up with <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />

  • Well that didn't take too long!

I've just created 2 'dummy' Medicare accounts within 1Password by going to https://www.mymedicare.gov/ and clicking the 'Sign In to MyMedicare.gov' link (they don't seem to have a dedicated Login page URL) and then doing the following in Safari:

    1. Enter your username and password, but DO NOT submit the form.

    2. Click the 1Password button in your browser's toolbar, and choose Save Login.

    3. Set the Action field to Create New Login

    4. Click the Save button.

I then refreshed the page to make sure I could fill the details, of course they didn't actually let me login to the site. Once that was done I repeated the above after making sure that the username and password field were both blank before entering the second set of login credentials.

That should get you up and running, one thing to check if you have issues is that the URL 1Password has saved for both Login items is the same, so simply https://www.mymedicare.gov/ should do the trick.

Let me know how it turns out,
