Easiest / Preferred way to move to a new Mac?

I'm currently running the trial version of 1Password, and have it installed on my iPhone as well, synced via Drop Box. I am planning on getting a new Mac in the next day or so, what's the best way to get 1Password working on the new Mac? My guess would be to install 1Password and Drop Box on the new Mac, then get 1Password to sync...?

Thanks,

Dave.

Exactly. You may have to point 1Password to the Dropbox folder location, but that should be it. No other setup is required.

Congratulations on the new Mac! I always get excited about fancy new hardware. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />

Fooligan is correct; you've already done the "hard" part once. It sounds like you've got it under control, but it's always good to doublecheck. Sometimes I'm paranoid I'll screw something up. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Anyway, you can check out the Dropbox syncing page in the knowledgebase. There might be some some additional info in there that could help you. I find that using things like step by step instructions can be helpful and alleviate some of the uncertainty of working with new software. We all have our own workflow comfort zone, and stepping outside that can be daunting. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

I usually install Dropbox first, let it sync completely and then install and run 1Password.

1Password should automatically detect your data in Dropbox and prompt you to start using it.
