Feature Request: Mark an item as "expired"

I'd really like to be able to mark an item in 1Password (a credit card, user name, etc.) as "expired" or "closed". I've got some old credit cards and bank accounts that are inactive, but that I'd like to keep in the program for my records. I'd love to see an option in the "edit" menu that would let you "expire" an item, causing it to be visible, but greyed out, in the list of options. Right now I'm using the title field to show a visual indicator of expired items, for example adding a prefix like "(Closed)" or "(Canceled)".

Sounds like a more generalized version of this existing feature, from [url=http://agilewebsolutions.com/products/1Password/versions#v30852]3.5.4 Release History[/url]:



[i][b]New[/b] Added "Never Display in Browser" setting to Identities and Wallet Items. This allows you to hide items (i.e. an expired/cancelled card) without needing to delete it.[/i]



Also like a variation of the [url=http://forum.agile.ws/index.php?/topic/3931-please-bring-new-features/page__view__findpost__p__22359]archive folder[/url] suggestion.



In other words, "hide but retain any item" seems to be a common denominator of different suggestions.

We're certainly looking into a lot of these ideas, but I can't promise exactly when we'll have some type of 'expired' option within 1Password.
