Forcing 'Logins' entries to be updated with a (new) screenshot

I just finished importing several hundred entries from KeePass, and would like to know how I can force 1Password to attach a screenshot to these entries (and update the favicon.ico), just like it does when you create a new entry directly in 1Password. Thanks!

Please click the "Download Missing Previews" button (Preferences > Logins).

A quick follow-up. I just had to make some changes to some of the imported entries, including URL changes, so the screenshot doesn't really represent the new location. Since I have close to 500 entries, is there a way of updating a single record, since it can take hours to redo all of these, just for a few screenshots? Thanks!

Hi noobinator,



Here is how to download a single login preview: Go into the 1Password vault, select the login you want to download the preview for (you do not have to be in the edit mode for this), right click on the preview image for the web site, and select "Download Preview". This will re-download the image for the updated URL.

There is indeed a way to refresh the previews or a single item. If you edit the item and then right-click the current preview and select 'Clear Preview' and then 'Download Preview' you should find that the preview for that Login item is downloaded.



Incidentally, while the previews appear to be just simple screenshots, do remember that 1Password has to connect to the site in question, let it fully load, grab the screenshot and save it to your data file, so it can take some time depending on your internet connection and also the site itself.
