Cannot remove keychain file from desktop

Hello there !

I'm a new user so my question is perhaps stupid. For some reason, the program or me made a copy of the master file (agilekeychain) which is now on the desktop and visible. I want to get rid of that but I cannot..

If anyone can help, that would be cool...

First of all, make sure you know where 1Password is set to look for the keychain (in preferences). If it's just a copy and not the primary then you be able to delete it with no problem.

Thanks Jaun, but strangely, if I delete the one on the desktop, it removes also the one in the standard file.. They are twins...

Welcome to the forums, Peter. I'm sorry you are having this problem.



It sounds like perhaps your data file has been moved to the desktop. (i.e. That may not be a [i]copy[/i] but the real McCoy.)



Could you tell me the path that is listed in 1Password's preferences? For reference, mine is shown in the default location:

Thank you Khad ! Yes, indeed, the file is located on the desktop (ooops, sorry <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';-)' />) but its only half of the problem, because if I want to move the file elsewhere, or the system does not accept it, or, it accepts, but then I cannot launch the program anymore from the launch bar...



Smells fishy, no ?

Good news : for a reason I don't know, everything suddenly works. Literally, what was impossible is working now...
