where ist the password generator

am i stupid or where ist the password generator in the software?



must i really "add new login", generate pw and cancel for generating?



is there no way to show the generator?

You can find the password generator in the below location in the Windows version of 1Password. There have been other requests to move this into the toolbar area, but I am not sure if that is planned for a future release or not. Post here is you have any further questions.

Welcome to the forum, hammaned!



Note that you won't see that [b]Password[/b] command in the [b]File[/b] > [b]New Item[/b] submenu unless you've also enabled [b]View[/b] > [b]Generated Passwords[/b] in 1Password.

The tool bar's pretty crowded and, so far, we've been reluctant to add a tool that may not be present (if the option is disabled) and that we see primarily used in the process of creating Login items.



That said, it's always helpful to know what our users would find useful. Thanks for the feedback, hammaned!
