not display the icon in the dock

I have updated to the latest version of Snow Leopard and wondered if it was possible to make sure that 1Password was uploaded to log in but that was not loaded on the dock icon

  • Hi riga75,

You don't need to have the 1Password app itself open, and therefore it won't be in the dock, to use 1Password within your browsers. We have a background process that handles the locked / unlocked state of your data file and so you only really need to open 1Password if you want to edit items, or retrieve information that can't be filled in the browser.

    Hope that helps,

    riga75,

I might be a little bit confused by what you mean here, but no you shouldn't set 1Password to 'Open at Login'. When you first use a browser with 1Password enabled you'll be asked to unlock your data file with your master password, this way you don't need to have 1Password itself open.

    Hope that makes sense,
