Version identification

I am operating 1password on a family license on a Macbook Pro with 10.6.7. I recently upgraded my Firefox browser to version 4.0, and 1Password disappeared from the browser. I have followed as well as am able the various fixes suggested, and the only thing I can identify is the fact that, while my license dialogue shows that my license is for 1Password3, the info pane for the application shows v. 2.12.1 (build 7671). Any ideas? Could I have a newer license but not the newer application?

Yes, it is possible. At some point we updated 1Password 2 to support newer licenses.

It looks like you need to download and install the new version of 1Password:

  • Thanks for that. On the linked page, the footnote under "1Password3 for Mac" states that "Browser extensions provided for Safari 5, Firefox 3, Google Chrome, Camino 2, OmniWeb 5, DEVONagent 2, and NetNewsWire 3." I am using Firefox 4.0. Is that supported as well? Thanks again.
