everyone of these password things say they are the best, best selling etc- who do we believe?

  • You. Believe yourself.

Read the overview, features, specs for each. Compare, spend enough time. It deserves it.

I came from SplashID to 1Password, and I am VERY happy I did it.

One big advantage of 1Password: I can synchronize my data through Dropbox without even knowing between my Mac Pro, my MacBook Pro, my iPad and my iPhone.

But this is only my experience. Go and see for yourself.
  • I too did a great deal of research before I upgraded from Safe Place to 1Password.

I also got spectacular support and advice from the Agile crew.

I wanted reliability, security, the ability to synch and a nice interface.

I suspect on those four criteria 1P is the best available.

    Good luck!

  • Thanks for the kind words, guys!

BLOND37, I know it can be a bit daunting at first. It can take some time and effort to get it set up just the way you want it; and, ultimately, only you can decide if it is worth the investment for you.

That said, if there are specific features you have questions about or need help using, just ask; we are here for you. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

1password is a piece of crap and almost reason enough to stay with windows. at least in windows you have roboforms which works flawlessly
