Does iOS/OSX dropbox syncing access same file?
Hi,
I have 1password for mac & 1password pro for iOS
The mac app stores the passwords database on my dropbox account.
I use wifi sync to keep my iOS and OSX devices in sync.
If I decide to use dropbox sync in my iOS devices, will the iOS app create a different database in my dropbox account Or will it sync with the already existing OSX 1password database present in my dropbox account?
If the iOS app will create a different database in my dropbox account, will that lead to problems? I.e. Will I end up with different 1password logins?
I have mac mini 2,1 , iPhone 2G, iPad 1

Welcome to the forums, evilcop!
If you switch to Dropbox syncing on your iOS devices (Sync > Settings > Dropbox) 1Password will access the data file you have already placed in your Dropbox folder. All you need to do is flip the switch. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />
Please let me know how it turns out.Flag 0 -

Just FYI, I got a few conflict errors in both iPad 1, iPhone 2g which I was able to resolve using the OSX app.
Also, iPhone 2G took a long time to sync but I guess I should just be thankful that 1password is compatible with a 3 year old phone!! Flag 0 -
Thanks again for the update!
I'm glad that 1Password is working well for you even on such an "archaic" device. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
Isn't it crazy how fast technology progresses? I still remember floppy disks, but when was the last time I put a disc in my optical drive?!Flag 0
