Feature Request: Go & Fill Multi-Step Login

<div class="IPBDescription">Login requires multiple pages</div>When a login requires multiple pages to be accessed, such as many banks, where the username login is on one page and the password login is on another page, would it be possible to execute both commands in 1P, with one click, by inserting a timed pause between the commands?

This is a common technique in other programming fields.

Thanks for asking about this, Drewski!

One thing that comes to my mind is network latency. A simple timed pause would have to be long enough to account for various levels of such latency. Having this work reliably across a variety of sites would not be trivial to implement. One of the hardest aspects of implementing such a feature may actually be the fact that the developers cannot test it on the second page of a multi-step login process without a username for every site on the Internet which employs this technique. Financial institutions often employ the technique and we don't have many people who want — nor would we ever ask for! — their usernames to test this. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_sadsmile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-(' />

I know this has come up before, but I'll pass this along to the developers to see if there is anything we can do here in the future. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />

Thought I'd add my two cents to this - an increasing number of financial institutions (90% that I'm involved with) now require some variant of the two-page login. While this is only a moderate annoyance on the desktop, it's a real show stopper when using an iOS device (unless I've missed a technique.) As IOS devices proliferate, and ever-more financial institutions require more multi-step logins, it would be nice for 1P to accommodate that (although I have no aversion to having to push buttons twice - once for the 1st page and another for the second page...)

    [/quote]Hi Jeff,

1Password on the iOS devices should be able to accommodate it now as long as there are two separate Login items, one for each page. When you tap on the first Login to view the first page of the site, let 1Password fill it in and when it reach the second page, tap the Globe icon on the browser’s toolbar to select the second Login to fill in on the second page.

Oh, excellent. A feature I'd missed, and it indeed works great. Thanks!
