Pasting 1Password data into Mac system prompts
I am having a problem where I am unable to paste 1Password passwords into OSX system type prompt, like pasting authentication data into the Airport dialog when joining a new network. Have others run into this, and if so, do you know if there is a way to modify the system preferences to allow for pasting something (such as a password manually copied out of 1password) into a system dialog?

Hi d10,
First of all, welcome to our forums, please make yourself at home <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />
In my own experience with 1Password and prompts for Airport passwords and other system prompts I haven't encountered this issue, I can paste the password for my wifi access points without any issues.
One thing to check is if the 'paste block' affects only data copied from 1Password or if it happens with any copied text?

I have also had this problem, since I have 1Password store my administrator password for OSX. But I am not allowed to copy and paste - I have to type it manually.Flag 0

I think this is an OS X issue in that some prompts won't allow any text to be pasted. It is, unfortunately, beyond the control of 1Password. Please let me know if you are able to paste text from a different source into a prompt which will not accept information copied from 1Password.Flag 0
