Hide / shorten licence key in application

it would be nice if the licence key will not shown / hide in the windows 1Password application because

every person using the computer can see my full licence key under "help -> enter licence key" without

entering any password-

I doubt it would be technically difficult to obscure the license key in that dialog box, but I'm not sure I understand the benefit to the user.



Can you tell us what security risk is posed by exposure of the license key?
