Moving keychain from Dropbox back to my mac

I want to move my keychain back to my mac from Dropbox. I'm not sure how to do this. Any suggestions?



I've tried the preferences (see screen shot) but this doesn't allow me to move the files.



Do I just simply drag the files to another location on my Mac?

Drag your 1Password.keychain file from the Dropbox folder to User>Library>keychains. It will go in there with the login.keychain

You can move (or copy) 1Password.agilekeychain from its current [i]~/Dropbox/My Stuff[/i] folder (~ is your home folder, /Users/Alan) to the default [i]~/Library/Application Support/1Password[/i] folder (or some other one), click the "Choose Another…" button under the [b]Data File[/b] section under Preferences > General, and select your keychain in its new location. See screenshot for how the [b]Data File[/b] path looks with 1Password.agilekeychain in its default location.



Maybe AWS could implement "Revert from Dropbox…" functionality to more easily undo "Move to Dropbox…".

Nice idea, I think this could be useful and eliminate headaches for those that choose not to use Dropbox, or want to temporarily switch etc <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />

We will definitely have to consider this once we're all set for Lion.

The Revert option would have [b]really[/b] come in handy. It took me quite a while to find this post (even though I seemed to be using the exact search words that were in the original post).

At least the solution was easy as cake. Or Pie. Or <choose your decadence here> <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':rolleyes:' />
