OS X keychain import performed through Safari
<div class="IPBDescription">Unreleased OS versions unsupported</div>Trying to import my passwords in 1Password from my keychain it stops on safari telling me my version is not supported. Ok, but i could import data from Chrome!! In fact the description says: "Safari, Google Chrome, OmniWeb, and Camino store all your user ids and passwords into the default OS X Keychain. To import all of the keychain entries, click Continue below"
Can't I just skip Safari?

Welcome to the forums, eWaves. I'm sorry that you are having this problem.
There really isn't a way to differentiate "Chrome" logins from "Safari" logins. They are all "Internet password" items in the OS X keychain. Safari is used to import all "Internet password" items form the OS X keychain since it is present on every Mac and an OS X keychain import in 1Password cannot rely on Chrome, OmniWeb, or Camino to be present.
Please update to the latest version of Safari and retry the import. If you are still having trouble, could you please tell me which versions of Mac OS X, Safari, and 1Password you are using?
Thanks!Flag 0 -
Thanks for the update. In addition to the above, Lion is a developer preview and Safari 5.1 is still unsupported by 1Password (even in the latest 1Password beta builds).
We hope to add support for Lion and Safari 5.1 as soon as possible. At the least, we should have support before Lion is actually available in stores. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';-)' />Flag 0
