Oh, snap. I think those screen shots could really come in handy. Unfortunately, they were not attached to your message. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_worried.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':S' />
I always forget to click the "Attach File" button after choosing the attachment(s). Perhaps that is what happened in your case:

If you continue to have trouble, you can attach the screen shots to an email to support@agilewebsolutions.com where we would be happy to continue assisting you. If you go that route, please include a link to this thread so we can "connect the dots" when we see the screen shots in our inbox. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />Flag 0 -

No worries. Like I said, I forget to click that button all the time. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />
Everything looks completely normal from your screenshots. If you "Get Info" on the actual Test.sparsebundle file (3) rather than the mounted disk image (1) you should see more consistent results.

Disk images alone can be confusing, and the fact that Knox uses sparse bundles which are essentially disk images that grow can be even more difficult to sort out. The size reported for the actual file (3) should match much more closely the size reported in Knox preferences (4). Slight variations will be present since Finder in Snow Leopard calculates size differently than Knox does. (51084206/1000/1000=51.1 vs 51084206/1024/1024=48.7 respectively.)
"Disk image" (or sparse bundle) capacity (2) is the total size the file can grow to but is essentially irrelevant when calculating the actual space the vault takes up on disk. You can rely on Knox for that information (4).
Just for fun, the vault's overhead — the space required for encryption and such above what would be needed if you just stored the files in a regular folder — can be calcluated by subtracting the space used (2) from the file's size (3).
I hope that helps. Please let me know if you have any additional questions or concerns.
Cheers!Flag 0
