1PasswordAnywhere not working via Dropbox on IE9

Hi,

I have 1password syncing between iPhone and PC using Dropbox.

Within Dropbox, I can click on the 1password.html file and successfully get the 1PasswordAnywhere login screen using the latest versions of Safari, Chrome and Firefox. When I try the same thing using Internet Explorer v9, I get a completely blank browser window. There is no error message displayed. Copying the URL (https://dl-web.dropbox.com...) from the Safari window and pasting it into IE9's address bar has the same effect.

If I click on the 1password.html link in the local folder on my PC, I get the 1PasswordAnywhere login screen successfully. So, the problem only happens when I use the 1password.html link from Dropbox on IE9. I am running Windows 7.

Can anyone help?

Thanks very much.

Peter

The inability to open 1PasswordAnywhere on the Dropbox web site isn't new to Internet Explorer 9. IE 8 couldn't open it, either:

I don't know why IE treats the local and remote copies of 1PasswordAnywhere differently—perhaps it's something similar to Chrome refusing to open the local copy of 1PasswordAnywhere, whereas it's perfectly happy with the remote copy.

The blank screen is new to IE 9, though—preferably, it would look something like the image shown above. I'll mention the problem to the developers, but I don't know whether we can do anything about how IE displays the unlock screen.

Thanks for bringing it to our attention!
