Welcome to the forums, Joss. I am really sorry that you are having some trouble with 1Password.
I snipped your Diagnostics Report from your post since we ask that they not be posted in the forums (mostly for your own sake). There isn't much of anything personally identifying beyond your name (which you are already using here in the forums) and the type of Mac you are running, but we like to err on the side of caution. System logs can possibly contain information you don't want Google indexing or anyone else getting ahold of. In the future, please feel free to attach a Diagnostics Report to an email to support@agilwewebsolutions.com where we would be happy to assist you. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />
That being said, thank you for providing your Diagnostics Report. I can see from the report that there a number of errors and possible file corruptions. I certainly don't want to alarm you, but a thought that crosses my mind is possible upcoming drive failure. Please be sure you backup your drive(s) regularly! Now would be a good time to also test your backups to make sure they are valid and can be used for a restoration. Nothing is worse than having bad backups when you need them most.
It is very possible that your drive still has a long and healthy life ahead. Like I said, I don't mean to alarm you, but there are numerous errors — some of which are completely unrelated to 1Password — that just make me want to encourage you to back up. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';-)' />
First of all, it would appear that your com.apple.security.plist file may be corrupt.

That is supposed to be human-readable text. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_worried.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':S' />
Try moving it to your desktop or archiving it elsewhere. I don't think it is related to your trouble with 1Password, but it gave me pause. Then again, while Snow Leopard writes an XML plist, previous versions of Mac OS X may have written a binary plist which has been carried over and would explain the "gibberish" output.
Next, please move this file (which is also being reported as corrupt) to the Trash:
/Volumes/Joss/Library/ScriptingAdditions/1Password Addition.osax
Finally, it looks like your 1Password installation itself is damaged, which is keeping it from starting. This is likely also affecting browser integration. To resolve this:
1. Download 1Password from our web site:
http://agilewebsolutions.com/downloads
Click on the "Download Now" button under "1Password 3"
2. Quit your web browser and 1Password, if it's running
3. Drag the newly downloaded version of 1Password to the same location as any previous one -- replacing it
4. Run 1Password at least once and then your web browser
Your information is stored in a data file separate from the application, so it will not be harmed by this procedure.
I hope that helps. Please let me know.
