Additional password fields aren't shown

I create additional password fields for any security questions that a site may ask. I do it this way so I can use the password generator to generate random answers for these questions. The problem is that these additional password fields, they are of type password but without a designation, do not show up on my Android phone. Is there a way to get this to show up?

I know that could put the fields in the notes section, but using a password field makes the password generator readily available, hence easier.

Also, in the Windows version there isn't a button to bring up the password generator. You have to bring it up as part of a password entry.

    Hello mpdharley,

Thank you for the feedback and welcome to the forum.

Custom defined fields for Logins will be shown in the next version of 1Password for Android coming up in the next few weeks, please sty tuned for the updates.

There will be a preference "Show extended fields for Login", it is set to True, all additional properties will be visible on the phone for the Login secure item

(in addition to the standard URL, username and password).

    Best regards,

    Gene

  • As a feature request, it would be great to have a field that was Security question that had a password generate button on it. Or, a way to bring up the password generator when adding notes.

    Hello mpdharley,

That is a very good suggestion, stand alone version of 1Password for Android will have a Generate Password button on Add/Edit secure item field.
