forum.agilebits.com resolves to the forum IP address so it can already be accessed using that new name if you prefer. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />



Not sure what AgileBit's long term intentions are for agile.ws, agilewebsolutions.com, and other domains that might indicate the old company name but likely they'll be around awhile for compatibility with references that are tough or impossible to update. Maybe the DNS pointer record for the IP address, which is still agilewebsolutions.com, will be changed to agilebits.com.

For example, if you visit forum.agilebits.com the intra-forum links still refer to forum.agile.ws. But substituting the former with the latter also works, e.g. for [url=http://forum.agilebits.com/index.php?/topic/4648-we-are-now-agilebits/]this topic[/url].

If I try to log in via forum.agilebits.com, I am redirected to forum.agile.ws where I am no longer logged in, so it [i]appears[/i] as though I cannot log in. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_worried.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':S' />



In actuality, if you log in to [i]both[/i] domains it doesn't make much of a difference, but until the switch is done, I would recommend sticking with forum.agile.ws. It's certainly not a [i]big[/i] deal, but I guess I am annoyed more easily by that sort of thing than some folks. If it were my mom, I wouldn't even bother telling her about the new domain yet since it would appear to her that she could not log in. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />

Ahh, yes… [b]that[/b] problem. Been through it (but not recently) on other forums so here, for now, will do:

We made things a lot less confusing by redirecting http://forum.agilebits.com to http://forum.agile.ws. No more redirects during login! <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />



We'll be moving the forums to the new domain "soonishly". It is not that difficult but we got distracted by a new Lion Developer Preview before we could complete the transition.
