I had to load the latest beta to get it to work, THANKS FOR NOT LETTING US KNOW!!!!!! I wasted hours on this and finally gave up but I said let me try the beta and low and behold it worked!!!!!!

Thanks to the guy that locked that thread (that is not what I really want to call him)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please do not tell me it was somewhere else, I would have looked but someone left that thread locked and at the top so it should have been updated!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for removing that outdated locked thread from the top of this forum.

    THANK YOU!!!

Sorry if my previous post sounded harsh but I wasted lots of time on getting 1p to work with Ffox 4, and after reading that thread, some said the betas did not work so at first I did not even try a beta, but after spending lots of time on this and nothing else worked I figured why not try. I guess you fixed it in a recent beta or one of them since someone locked that thread.

Welcome to the forums, dfran1! I am truly sorry that you had trouble getting 1Password working in Firefox 4. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_sadsmile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-(' />

I closed the old thread you mention because it was getting a bit out of hand in both breadth and length. The final post I made in that thread was an attempt to encourage folks to start new threads (like you have done here <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />) if they are having trouble with Firefox 4 since the problem is not widespread anymore and is now particular to each machine.

Again, I am truly sorry that you had trouble getting 1Password working in Firefox 4. There is no reason to use the beta channel, though, since the latest stable version of 1Password (3.5.9) works quite well in Firefox 4, and the beta channel comes with its own ups and downs. I would recommend sticking with the stable version unless you prefer to use pre-release software that may contain bugs. If you know what you are getting into, then, by all means, we really appreciate the extra help testing 1Password, but there is no need to take risks unnecessarily.

To revert to the stable version of 1Password:

    1. Download 1Password from our web site:

    http://agilewebsolutions.com/downloads

Click on the "Download Now" button under "1Password 3"

    2. Quit your web browser and 1Password, if it's running

    3. Drag the newly downloaded version of 1Password to the same location as any previous one -- replacing it

    4. Run 1Password at least once and then your web browser

Your information is stored in a data file separate from the application, so it will not be harmed by this procedure.

If you are still having trouble getting 1Password 3.5.9 to work in Firefox 4, could you please email us your Diagnostics Report? To generate the report from 1Password on your Mac, open 1Password and select Help > Troubleshooting > Diagnostics Report. Then attach the entire file to an email to support@agilewebsolutions.com.

Please include a link to this thread in order that we might more quickly "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report in our inbox.

Please do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forums, though.

Sending in a Diagnostics Report was one of the steps listed in the thread you mention, but the last email I see from you in out system was from a year ago for an obviously unrelated issue. We can often resolve these types of problems much more quickly with a Diagnostics Report. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />

Please let me know how it turns out. If we can be of further assistance, please let us know.

We are always here to help!

I have loaded this version of 1p several times but not once did it work in fire fox, so it has to do with the beta.

1 load beta and get 1p to hopefully work in FF (it did for me) even if it does not just continue to the next step.

2 load the latest 1p (non beta) back on (following khad directions here) and it should still work like it did for me.

Working perfect now (as of today, tomorrow may be another day).

    Thanks

I am glad everything is working well for you. That is always good news! <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_bigsmile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-D' />

Please don't hesitate to let me know if you ever have any further trouble.

    Cheers,
