FYI - Lack of master password prompt in FF after upgrade (SOLVED)
in Mac
Hi everyone,
I ran into a problem after upgrading to 1P 3.5.9 on OS X 10.6.x a few days back. My FF 3.6.x plugin no longer prompted for the master password the first time I searched for a stored login. The desktop app continued to do so.
I found a post in the forum that described how to fix an installation by checking folder permissions, disabling all browser extensions, rebooting, and then re-enabling the browser extensions. That did the trick for me!
Cheers,
Greg

Welcome to the forums, Greg! Thanks for sharing this.
For anyone else coming across this while searching, I would also double-check 1Password's "Unlocking" settings (Preferences > Security). If both "Disable automatic unlock…" settings are CHECKED, you will always be prompted for your password when first launching 1Password and your browser(s).
