in Mac
<div class="IPBDescription">was: Have 1password for Mac, and I got a PC. What can i do?</div>Hi,
maybe a repetead question, but I didn't find it.
I have my 1password license form my home Mac, but in my new job, I got a PC.
What can I do? can I install 1password for Windows, and use my license? that would be the perfect use. I do not want to check a pdf on my dropbox.
What solution do you give me?
Thank you.

Hello Karkayou and welcome to the Forums!
AgileBits' licensing policy is based on a per user/per platform policy. Please refer to the following thread for more details: 1Password License Discussion
Based on their current policy, you would need to purchase a separate license to run 1Password on Windows.
However, if all you need to do is access non-1Password files in your Dropbox account, you would not need to purchase a copy. If you are allowed, just install Dropbox on your work PC.
Presuming that you would like the benefits of 1Password on your new work machine, you can download the 30-day free trial and ensure that you like the Windows version (which I understand is not exactly like the Mac version...yet.)
One important point to consider is whether your employer will allow third-party software on your work platform. In my case, I am not allowed to install 1Password on my work provided Windows laptop.

Welcome to the forums, Karkayou!
The "desktop" 1Password applications are licensed to you *per platform*, not just for one computer. As long as you are its only user, you can use 1Password for Mac on all your Macs with just a single-user 1Password for Mac license. The same is true for 1Password for Windows. Additional users require additional licenses. You can read more about our licensing policy in our user guide:
http://help.agilebits.com/1Password3/how_many_licenses.html
Each of the desktop versions (Mac and Windows) are sold separately, as are the 1Password mobile apps. Family licenses are also sold per platform so you cannot use a single Family license across both Mac and Windows systems.
In your case, if you do not already have a bundle license, you may need to purchase a Windows license.
Please let me know if there is anything else I can help with. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />
