May 20, 11 Announcement : 1Password Reader is released on Market
<div class="IPBDescription">1Password Reader ver 1.8.0.0 is released on Market</div>Hello 1Password for Android users,
I'd like to let you know that 1Password Reader for Android is released on Market and available for download.
Please download it and give it a try.
The version has a totally new interface, hope you will like it better than the old one.
There are many other new features in this release.
1Password Reader is read-only, as it follows from the application name.
The good news is that the fully functional version of 1Password for Android is also in development.
At this time I cannot commit myself to any definitive time frame, so please stay tuned for the further announcements.
1Password Reader will have one more major release: support should be added for the new 1Password keychain data format
(the new standard will not have high/low security options, every piece of data will be encrypted with high security keys).
The new keychain format will be used by all Agile products, therefore, supporting it on Android is a crucial thing.
After this release 1Password Reader will have only bug fixes and small enhancements. All development activities will be concentrated
on the stand-alone version of the application. The user interface will presumably stay the same, at least for the first cut;
add/edit/delete entries option will be added together with two-ways sync.
Please stay tuned for the updates. I am awaiting your comments, suggestions and recommendations on how to make 1Password for Android and other Agile
products even better.
Thank you in advance
Best regards,
Gene
