Always Stay unlocked

There are moments after launching and relaunching FireFox ( or any other Browser i use ) that it is a real pain in the studio to "unlock" 1Password. I do understand that with some computers that have multi users the lock feature is necessary. However I am the only user of my computer and really do not require that feature.

What preference setting do i set to have 1Password always stay unlocked.

    Hello midiw,

1P's lock settings can be found in Preferences on the Security tab. The following link will take you to 1P's help site and provides an explanation for each option.

OK, thanks. For greater certainty for this old goofer , do i uncheck all the boxes under Autolock and check all items under Unlocking ?

    midiw,

Based on your original post, I believe you do not want 1P asking for your master password every time you restart your browser, but you do want 1P to ask you for your master password when you first start the 1P application or use the 1P extension for the first time.

If that is your desire, and you don't mind the decreased security if others happen to be around your computer, you can uncheck all the boxes under Auto-Lock and check only the first box under Unlocking: Disable automatic unlock for 1Password. I attached a screen shot of what I am describing.

Please let me know if you wish to learn more about the various locking options and when each may be a good idea to implement.

P.S. However, if I am mistaken, and you do not wish to ever be asked for your master password, you should uncheck the first box under Unlocking and check the third box labeled Never prompt for master password. I'm adding this comment because of a previous post you made: 1P please stop nagging us for the secret pass word...

I hope I answered your question satisfactorily. If I didn't, please let me know.
