Growl notifications

Two questions.



1. What events trigger the current Growl notification "vaults unmounted"? Although this notification is enabled in Growl I have not yet seen it trigger.



2. Would it be possible to have a similar Growl notification, warning that "Knox vaults are currently open" which would trigger when there is at least one vault open. Users could then leave the notification showing until they were ready to logout or shutdown. This would act as a reminder for users to manually close vaults and thereby overcome the issues which would occur if vaults were made to close automatically.

    I am running Lion and have some issues I no longer see growl notifications from Knox where use to I did (Unmounting) . strange no other app (growl portion) has been affected by the change



    Note; Lion appears to not be ejecting the vault properly I always have to force unmount all my knox vaults, this is most likely why I do not receive the growl notifications. etc



    I would also see the possibility of maybe the team injecting another growl notification into the mix. Vault mounted it could be turned off by default and then it could be an advanced choice for user like you or myself. Enable the growl notification and them we would could always set it to stay on screen until we dismiss it.



    Nice idea now lets see what the team has to say.

    I am still running Leopard 10.5.8 and have never seen the 'unmounted' notification since installing Knox.



    I presume it's supposed to trigger every time a vault is unmounted ???

    Yes it still displays on the wife's Mac (10.6.7) ... when a vault is unmounted



    hmmm I am seeing mounted notifications on her Mac, it must be omnigrowl.. (If you love Growl give it a look) I have been using it for a very long time.



    Which version of Knox are you running. I just checked and I was running 2.09 a beta... I just went back to 2.08 no change <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':(' />



    I had a Growl update notification today 1.2.2 on 3 of my Macs I am not sure if it was an erroneous update or etc. (Seen those before) I usually stay very up to date on Growl so I tend to think its correct.Sadly they have release notes but they don't put release dates ugh.



    But good ole Macupdate to the rescue it says release date 5/25/2011 <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />
