<div class="IPBDescription">split from 1Password for Windows BETA builds (same thread name)</div>Hm, I'm just now attempting to use squareup.com.. and am experiencing this problem. But, the apparent fix in 1.0.0.55 is not fixed in 3.1.3 (MacOS). It won't pick up the "name/email" when I try to save the auth info to 1PW; when I manually fill it in to the saved item in 1PW, it doesn't fill it into the webform; I even tried to set the null Field Name to "email" (matching the id/name of the webform). But 1PW persists in ignoring that field.

Just tried it. Working in Firefox 3.6 but not Safari or Chrome. Only the password is entered.

At this moment, we have fixed this in the Windows version only.

Any update to this being fixed on the Mac version?

    Thanks.
  • Okay, it's been nearly a year now. HTML5 is everywhere, and web developers (like myself) are trying to implement new features like type="email" as much as we can.

As long as 1Password doesn't support this increasingly common field type, you're holding things up. I love 1P and rely on it completely, but this seemingly small annoyance has been going on too long. If it's fixed in the Windows version, why not in the Mac version, a YEAR later?

    Pretty please?

    Please?

    Welcome to the forums, ahecht!

I'm sorry that you're having this problem. I am not able to reproduce any problems in 1Password for Mac or any of its browser extensions. Please try saving the login manually like this:

    1. Enter your username and password, but DO NOT submit the form.

    2. Click the 1Password button in your browser's toolbar, and choose Save Login.

    3. Set the Action field to Create New Login (or to Replace <login-name>, to update an existing Login item).

    4. Click the Save button.

Using the above technique I was able to save and fill a sample login at:

    https://squareup.com/login

Manually saving a login can be useful for logins that are either problematic to begin with or were once working but have since stopped. Doing this allows 1Password to refresh everything it "knows" about the page. Login pages often change as websites are updated and this can be a necessary but very useful tip. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />

I hope that helps. Please let me know.

    Thanks!
